BYU Hosts the Utah Dixie Classic
Brigham Young University women's golf team will host the 17th Annual Utah Dixie Classic on Monday and Tuesday, April 7-8 at the Sunbrook Golf Course in St. George, Utah.
In last season's Utah Dixie Classic, BYU finished tied for fourth out of 20 teams by firing a 54-hole score of 301-319-297--917. The Cougars were led by sophomore Natalie Newren (74-78-72--224) who finished in a tie for eighth. University of California-Irvine will be defending its title after winning the tournament in 2002 with a nine-stroke lead over Idaho (295-301-303--899).
Live-scoring will be available at golfstat.com offering the timeliest results. Final results of the Utah Dixie Classic will be faxed to the visiting schools on Wednesday, April 9 and can also be accessed on BYU's athletic website www.byucougars.com after the completion of each day. Results can also be emailed after each round. Please send an email request to dave_broberg@byu.edu before April 7.

Results: For quickest results, refer to live-scoring at golfstat.com; and if you would like to receive scores via email, please email dave_broberg@byu.edu prior to the tournament and he will email the results as soon as they are made available. Because we don't have fax access at the golf course, email will be the fastest way for you to get the results. Otherwise, official results will be sent via fax to each school's SID office Wednesday, April 9. Results will also be made available as soon as possible on our website: www.byucougars.com.
