BYU to participate in Rose City Collegiate
PROVO, Utah – BYU women’s golf will continue its fall season next Monday and Tuesday Sept. 28-29 at Portland State’s Rose City Collegiate on the par-72 Langdon Farms Golf Course.
“This is the first time we have traveled to participate in this tournament,” Cougar head coach Carrie Roberts said. “We are very excited to continue our fall season.”
The playing field will consist of 15 teams from conferences around the country, seven of which, Portland State, Boise State, Northern Colorado, Colorado State, Nevada, San Francisco and Fresno State, are teams that competed in the Ptarmigan Ram Classic with BYU two weeks ago. Weber State will also join the Cougars in next week’s event.
Teams will play 36 holes of golf Monday, and finish the tournament with the third round of 18, Tuesday.
BYU is coming off a first place finish at the Ptarmigan Ram Classic, its first event of the fall season.
Teams will tee off Monday with an 8 a.m. PT shotgun start. Live stats can be found on the BYU women’s golf schedule page.
