Women's Tennis Plays Instate Rival Utah In SLC

BYU's women's tennis team continues MWC play this time on the road, with a match against Utah in Salt Lake City.

The match will be played at the Eccles Tennis Center beginning at 5 p.m. on Fri. March 31.

The Cougars currently have a 7-5, 2-0 conference record and are ranked 41 in the country. Senior Eline Chiew, who has a 58th place ranking leads the BYU team in singles with a 26-10 overall record at the number one spot. Junior Jodi Richardson from Canberra, A.C.T. Australia follows at the number two singles with a 5-7 dual record.

In the doubles competition the Cougars are led by the number one duo of Richardson and Kim Kelly from Salt Lake City who have compiled a 4-5 record to date.

Utah has a 6-7, 3-2 record and has won the last two matches at home against Air Force and Boise State.
