Tullis and Gajardo named WCC Doubles Team of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – BYU junior Sam Tullis and sophomore Ben Gajardo were named the West Coast Conference Doubles Team of the Week.

Tullis and Gajardo clinched the doubles point for the Cougars at No. 2 doubles by upsetting No. 46 Joel Gamerov and August Holmgren. This defeat proved crucial in BYU’s close 4-2 victory over No. 24 San Diego.

The Cougar pair is 15-0 on the season as the No. 2 doubles duo.

BYU is 16-3 this season and hosts WCC foe San Francisco on Friday.
