Hartsock Named WCC Player of the Week
SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference has announced its men's basketball Player of the Week award-winner for December 5, 2011.
NOAH HARTSOCK, SR., F, BYU
BYU senior forward Noah Hartsock led the Cougars to back-to-back neutral site wins over Northern Arizona (87-52) and Oregon (79-65) last week while averaging 17 points, eight rebounds, two assists, and 3.5 blocks per game. He also shot 50% from the field and 90% from the free throw line. Hartsock was the top player on the court against Pac 12 foe Oregon as he led the way with a double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds. He also added two assists and tied a season high with four blocks. He hit 8 of 14 from the field and 7 of 8 from the free throw line.
