The Miner Sisters earn MRGC weekly awards
LOGAN, Utah – Teammates and sisters, junior Abbey Miner and sophomore Sadie Miner, received Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference weekly honors on Monday for their season-opening performances last week.
Abbey Miner was named the MRGC Gymnast of the week after winning the all-around title in both of BYU's meets. Not only did she win the all-around competition in the team’s home season-opening win over No. 15 Nebraska on Monday but also achieved a career high at the event with a 39.325 all-around total. Days later at the first-ever Rio Tinto Best of Utah NCAA Gymnastics Meet on Saturday, Jan. 11, the junior won the all-around title again against No. 4 Utah, Southern Utah and Utah State.

The MRGC awards recognize the top performers each week from member schools Boise State, BYU, Southern Utah and Utah State.
